About Course
Welcome to unit TQ001 Introduction to Quality (Quality Fundamentals). Please read this carefully.
This Unit is intended to give the student an overview of the spectrum of the Quality Sciences and Disciplines. In many Western societies there is a prevailing view that ‘Quality’ is mainly concerned with identifying defects and their causes. You will see in this Unit that there can be far more to it than that.
Also, if you join the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) now, as a Foundation member, and if you have more than 2 years experience working in a Quality Function, you may be able to obtain Quality Practitioner level status. If you mentioned us in your original application to the CQI they will give you a special reference number and waive the application fee.
